Sega Game Gear Consolized GGTV Installed w/Modded Controller

I have this on Ebay but will post this here too and see if there is any interest.
This is a Sega Game Gear modded for tv output with a GGTV board courtesy of Tim Worthington. I then compacted, rewired and got everything functioning in a Genesis Model 2 shell. I stripped the model 2 motherboard and used it for the controller ports and mounting AV outputs. Controller ports are fully functional, S-video and composite output are on the rear as well as stereo audio.
The cartridge port has been remounted and cart slot was hacked to accommodate this. Unfortunately I had zero clearance to include dust flaps :(
Controller is a hacked NES pad with a new decal. As mentioned earlier, both ports work - the second is for player 2 on Sega Master System games. You will notice the Game Gear games have a border around them - this is because of the aspect ratio of the system but doesn't take away from gameplay at all.
The shell has some knicks and scratches - I cleaned and buffed everything as best as I could. Turned out pretty good overall :)

$325 Shipped.

Anyways, any questions please PM me

Ok I just dug out a Genesis controller and tested - it does not work.

For some reason, it just doesn't jive with the Game Gear. This makes sense though because I've seen controller port adapters available for the Game Gear that make the Genesis controllers functional

Yes, Console 5 sells a kit that allows just that. I don't remember the specifics but I think it de-multiplexes the signals of the Sega Genesis controllers to allow the use of the start button. Not necessary if someone just modifies a pair of controllers like bradd1978 did here.
