Northcoastgamer
I've been trying to figure out how the record for Ghost Manor is over 500k and out of all the people playing this round only one has scored over 500k and one other just over 400k. I have timed games on 3 different Ghost Manor carts (2 double enders and a single version). In all 3 versions the gametime is actually under 4 minutes around 3:30. But, the videos I have watched showing scores over 500k, the time is around 4 minutes 30 seconds for those games in question. That is a FULL minute more than what I timed with my Ghost Manor carts. Thus one full minute more equals about 6 - 7 mores crosses and the higher scores. I don't see anything in the instruction manual about some way of increasing the time and I'm not accusing anyone of anything. I've dealt with numbers my whole life and numbers don't lie. Perhaps I'm old too and cracking up, I'm just not seeing it.

+Spriggy
Ghost Manor - Game 1 B/B 278,800 Played on: PAL 'Vader' (Batari S-Video mod) / cx40 / PAL cart (double-ender). Never really played this. Pity about the points trolling technique, else would be a pretty fun quick game, where accuracy and every slight move counts. @Jin: Thx for the tips. Actually felt guilty trolling
+Spriggy
WOW, I hate this game!!! Best I am going to do. Don't want to play it again!! Time to move on. C'mon Red!! One more push ya bastard!! I noticed that too, initially i thought it was a PAL/NTSC thing. Likewise. It's actually intriguing stumbling on things like this and investigating PAL vs NTSC, Hardware vs Emulator, different cart variations. eg Similar to the 'Skiing' discussion last season. Nothing sinistar ... just it is what it is! Edited November 3, 2018 by Spriggy

One is an NTSC EMULATED run for the 410K it went for 3.39 minutes My other run is a PAL run scoring 430K Different Strategy and it also ran for 3.39 The Video showing the 536k score definitely lasts for 4 minutes and 30 seconds Is it a random in game timing error, or are there other ROMS out there?
