+Rick Reynolds
Hey there Commodore folks. I came across a beat-up C-128 at PRGE and brought it home to attempt a restoration on it. There are six keys that I need to replace either because they were missing or the little post in the inside center of the key broke off. Does anyone have a junker C-128 that they keep around for spare parts that could possibly help me out? I need these: Control V Q 6 (from main keyboard, NOT the numeric keypad) Shift (are left and right shift keys identical on this keyboard? I'm not quite sure which is which) CRSR up/down I'm also in need of one more of the posts that are beneath the keys, and one or two keyboard springs. FWIW, I did find all of these keys on ebay for $13 each. Ouch! There's a whole C-128 marked as "untested" that has a buy-it-now that is cheaper than buying six keys from that guy.
