arcade124
https://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAZY-KONG-for-ATARI-5200-SuperSystem-cartridge-only-NEW-RELEASE-/332884358958?oid=332672781189 I looked it up, there's absolutely no record of such a game existing besides this listing. Link in the description takes me to Xari Arena. Anyone know how good of a port of CK it is, or of any footage?
+Allan
I'm sure it's a hack of the Atari 800 Donkey Kong. You might be able to find a rom of it somewhere to try. Allan
+Allan
I think it's somewhere in this thread. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/249885-atari-a8-donkey-kong-hack/page-1 Allan

arcade124
I've known for years what CK is, but I've never heard about a 5200 port. That's what I'm confused on.
MMarcoux66
I've known for years what CK is, but I've never heard about a 5200 port. That's what I'm confused on. Same boat as you. I know what the arcade game is but not the 5200 version. Wonder if there is a ROM we could try out before we buy it? Curious on the gameplay. The seller says he's just getting the boards in, maybe it's been private before this?
Shawn
I can't find anything anywhere about it. The seller says he's just getting the boards in, maybe it's been private before this? My bet is it's a color pallet and\or sprite hack of the previously ported A8 version.
Neogeoman
The only two home versions I know about are the commodore 64 and zx spectrum versions. Dont know where this port came from, but I agree its probably a hack of the excellent atari 800 version
Lynxpro
The only two home versions I know about are the commodore 64 and zx spectrum versions. Dont know where this port came from, but I agree its probably a hack of the excellent atari 800 version It might not have been a modern hack. It could've been an A8 public domain/shareware/freeware attempt at replicating the unauthorized arcade game and then "transported" over to the 5200...
