Jeffrey Bouchard Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 I was using my super pro system today with my LTO Flash cartridge and everything boots up fine and works, however, during a game of beauty and the beast, the screen with randomly crackle, go black, and then be back to normal. However, inevitably I would always lose my game when the screen was black. I have the console plugged into a 3 way coax switchbox with one of those adapters on the end of the cable. it has been a while since I've used the actual system, however, I do not recall this behavior happening before. mr_me Posted November 27, 2018 Share Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) Is the game crashing/resetting or are you losing video temporarily. If it's losing signal the rca jack on the intellivision could be dirty or loose. But normally that would be sensitive to movement of the cable. However, I hooked up the console to an old CRT using the coax adapter and everything worked fine. I wondering if its the LCD TV or any newer tv since many do not have RF connections anymore not being able to properly use the signal. Thank you for all of your help. I really appreciate it. +-^CrossBow^- Posted November 27, 2018 Share Posted November 27, 2018 yeah without internal modification, you would have to use an old VCR to demodulate the RF back into separate composite and video.
