S.BAZ
Tetris Plus (I played "Regular Tetris" mode, I hope this is right): 105,000 +2 Tetrises! I don't like being able to move the blocks around after they land. It causes me to mess up the next block. S.BAZ
Improvement: 156,800 and 12 Tetrises again the controls are very annoying. Edited December 18, 2018 by S.BAZ

youxia
Next round plz...for me this is Melt My Brain, not Test. I just can't handle the pace this kind of arcade games. Did 18,100 on Tetris but that's unlikely to go much higher. How do you get a "Tetris" anyway?
S.BAZ
Puyo Puyo: 11,086 to youxia -- you get a "tetris" by clearing 4 lines all at once. You can clear lines with singles, doubles, triples, and tetrises.

youxia
Puyo is charming but also one of these games where I absolutely have no clue what I'm doing. I suppose it's all about chaining some mad combos? And get big bonus for finishing the opponent fast. But ...whenever I try to be clever and build for future I get half a screen of bad puyos dumped on me by the man-fish or foot-child. I managed to do ~30K (that was Tetris) 20K in one game but now can come nowhere close to that score again. Puzzling indeed. Ramses
I'm not sure how I did so well in Puyo Puyo. I keep getting around 5,000 at the foot guy, but one time I only got to the fish and got 18,196. Can a long combo really add up that quickly? Tetris Plus: 15,200 Puyo Puyo: 18,196 Edited December 29, 2018 by Ramses
youxia
I can no longer set my score in Puyo Puyo. Even resetting the game doesn't fix it. I wonder if it's a hiscore.dat bug. I saw that you mentioned 45K earlier in Puyo. I think we should honour it even without a scr$. I din't play Tetris anymore but I actually got quite fascinated by Puyo, trying to make sense of it all. Even read a guide online, something I never really do. And still, nothing. Can't crack this game, my brain is just too slow and wired differently for this kind of gameplay. No idea how I got that 20K, that was a real fluke.

Now that I've played more, I believe that it must have been 4,500. I think I just got lucky on the one game with a couple of big combos and got 18,196 at the fish. I can't get anywhere near that now and I can last pretty long on the foot guy. Yeah, the scoring system seems to be weird - like there's a small chance for your score to sky rocket but it seems to be a luck thing. youxia
Ah ok. That makes sense. I tried many times and mostly eneded up between 10k-18k for the fish/foot. Big bonus points are for killing an opponent fast. And combos too, sure. I'm not sure about luck, I think it is a devilishly clever game, especially after reading that guide - there are some people who play it on pro level (MP as well). Even watching the foot kid, how he organises everything...wow. It's just not for me. Like 4D chess or something
