sparkdrummer
I ain't much of a gamer, but I do like playing them. I'd like see a real kickass pinball game on the TI. One other would be LIMBO. This is a game I enjoyed watching my son play - especially when the giant spider was after him. Pretty much gray scale graphics but very well done.
Casey
In no particular order: 1. Master of the Lamps (Activision) (There was an MSX port of this, so at least we know what it should look and sound like on the 99/4A since they share video and audio hardware) 2. Joust 3. Some sort of a driving game (OutRun?)
Nick99
Here´s my two first in mind games; International Karate+ Outrun or any other alternative car game in that style.
Omega-TI
I probably should have inquired before I posted my short list, but are we talking 9918, 32K limitation only, or is the F18A & SAMS in the running as well? Multi-banked cartridge too, or playable on a disk system?
+mizapf
Some C64 games that I loved to play back in those days: Galaga Jumpman Space Taxi Fort Apocalypse Impossible Mission Summer/Winter Games
budz2355
All titles? Hmmm... - Gyruss (arcade, not NES) - Galaga - Afterburner - Thunder Force III - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Arcade Game - Super Mario Bros 3 - Symphony of the Night I know that not a lot on that list is easy. I know because I've looked into them all. Symphony of the Night for TI??? Wow, that would be incredible. I'd settle for regular old Castlevania

8_is_enuff
7. Donkey Kong. I would love to see it finished. That is, have game play tweaked, and add in a few missing elements.

majestyx
1. Rogue dungeon crawler While not a 100% Rogue clone, it's pretty close, if I do say so myself: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/275159-grail-of-the-gods-a-compiled-xb-rogue-like-game-finalized/
PeteE
One other would be LIMBO. This is a game I enjoyed watching my son play - especially when the giant spider was after him. Pretty much gray scale graphics but very well done. Limbo is a really great atmospheric game. It's even getting a C64 port. Also Undertale is a RPG I think looks interesting in a retro style with a unique battle system. And a Cave Story port would be just lovely.
sparkdrummer
If Limbo could ever be made, Id love to plug it into my TI and show it to my son for play. If Im lucky enough to score a Dragons Lair Im going to show that to him as well.

+adamantyr
When I get my CRPG done my next projects on the TI are: Gauntlet clone (some of you saw bits of this at FestWest '17) Roguelike (Had a couple threads on Atariage on map generation)
Tursi
Afterburner? NFW was the only thing that popped into my head. It played fine on the NES and the Master System, and they weren't that much more powerful. Just takes ROM space.

That would be sort of unique to the 4A and a departure from the normal formats. SOUND STARTS AT: 1:15
Omega-TI
One more thing about Afterburner... how would we integrate the << forced feedback controller >>?

Omega-TI
With the sound method Tursi used in his new Dragon's Lair, a ported TI version could beat the C64's music all to heck and back. Add in the F18A graphics and make it of the FG99 and it would really kick-A...
AwkwardPotato
I'd love to see Silpheed on the TI Edited December 27, 2018 by AwkwardPotato
Tursi
With the sound method Tursi used in his new Dragon's Lair, a ported TI version could beat the C64's music all to heck and back. Add in the F18A graphics and make it of the FG99 and it would really kick-A... Dragon's Lair sound requires precise cycle counting, it wouldn't be a good choice for background music to a complex game. (Sorry for encouraging the focus on one game, but Afterburner's soundtrack is pretty good ) Both the Master System and the NES have soundtracks that could be adapted to the TI (the Master System almost exactly). I do think the chip can do better, but finding a composer is the challenge. Good candidate for a little interrupt driven speech synthesis too I definitely see the FG99 as a future platform for large data software.
Omega-TI
I definitely see the FG99 as a future platform for large data software. Totally agree, but in life there are trade offs.. in this case larger programs require more of a time investment, coming from the programmers who have jobs and family obligations, so the result is fewer games. But I have to admit, it's exciting to see things change for the better.
pixelpedant
Another game that would be 100% achievable as a straightforward port: Golvellius Inasmuch as it has already been developed with graphics for TMS9918 (MSX1) and sound for SN76489 (SMS). Pretty sweet PSG sountrack.
