xyzzy666
I'm trying to open a Vectrex cartridge shell - I've found a couple of videos/examples that explain to remove the screw on the back and... voilà it's open! But it looks like this cartridge has no screws and I can't seem to find a way to open it without breaking it... Any help is appreciated! Vectrexer
Some are glued shut. That is probably one of them. Why would you want to open this one?
xyzzy666
I would like to replace the internals with a multicart, in a non-destructive way obviously as I don't want to damage the original shell. But if it's glued it's going to be quite tricky.
shilmover
I would purchase one of the repro cart shells from Sean
xyzzy666
That's an option, but a bit on the expensive side, as the minimum order is 4 shells and adding international shipping it's more than I paid for the multicart itself. If this can't be reliably open I'll leave it as it is.

If this can't be reliably open I'll leave it as it is. When reusing an Original era GCE / MB Vectrex cartridge shell, look for the cart that has a screw. Remove the screw. Then pop the shell open. Even the screwed shells have internal plastic clips along the outside edges that will hold the cart together. But the cart shells without the screw have glue applied before being snapped shut.
