More than 10K minutes which is a new record! As discussed above, we have some really strong performers this week of which Morrowind most likely sets a new record in most number of minutes played in the same week, both regarding modern and classic games. Both #2 Crusader Kings 2 and #3 Final Fantasy X-2 would otherwise have been contenders for the title.

digdugnate
I mixed it up this week since I finished my last 'major game' Monday- I picked up 'Gato Roboto', which touts itself as a Meowtroidvania and spent some time getting reacquainted with Octopath Traveler and Mario Kart 8. Agamon
PC Crusader Kings II (1491 min) Almost done my Ireland game, but falling short of my goal of uniting Britannia. Less than capable heirs, disgruntled siblings and Welsh and Scottish vassals, and needing to go to war with brothers that get half the kingdom when a ruler dies because of the inheritance laws made this a tough job. Two-thirds of England are still independent and there's only 25 years left before the game ends. Apparently, it's easier to do with the expansions, which I picked up this weekend on sale, but I'll be moving on to a different region next game. XB1 Borderlands 2 (219 min) Had time to continue my co-op game of BL2 with my brother. Love this game, can't wait for the new one!

On the systems list, CK2 helps the PC take the title ahead of GBA and most of the others follow closely behind. Also a Commodore guy, I can't help to notice the total number of minutes this week is CIA!Those who follow the classic tracker know I had to migrate to a newer PC. I'm not saying it makes me more likely to play newer PC games, but at least theoretically I could play one or two of the low end ones (or at least those who were low-end seven years ago).
Kurt_Woloch
Here are my limes for this past week (June 3rd through 9th, 2019) on modern systems... Arcade: Dolphin Star - 3 min. World's largest Pac-Man - 3 min. I only played modern games in the arcade this week... two games I first played last year, only this time around I rode to the local arcade where they are located on a Lime e-scooter which didn't yet exist last year. They even fixed Dolphin Star so that it now carries my weight without struggling. I wasn't so successful on World's largest Pac-Man, where I already failed in the 2nd level.
Eltigro
Only one game for me that would be considered "modern." Game Boy Advance Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (emulated) - 38 min (I thought I had started a game of this, but I guess I hadn't. I kinda played until I was kinda confused about where to go next. Kept finding dead ends and got tired of backtracking so I shut it off.)
Skippy B. Coyote
It was an especially awesome week for gaming around here this past week, since I finally completed the project I've been working on for the past 4 months and rebuilt our old Sega Genesis Model 2 / Sega CD / 32X setup! In all the years that I've been buying and selling retro game systems I only ever regretted selling two things: My original Game Boy (which I got back earlier this year) and my Sega Genesis trifecta. Now that I've got them both back I'm feeling pretty darn content! digdugnate
Since I finished X-2 and I'm not doing 'New Game+' for some time, I took this opportunity to play some different games on my Switch. I was also not a huge fan of X-2 Last Mission, so we'll see if I ever finish that. I found that my daughter really likes playing Mario Kart 8, so we've spent some quality time on that! Our son has been playing with us on his Switch, but it seems to be having some difficulties staying on the network- that's a long story that is likely going to end up with an RMA. I banged at Gato Roboto and Downwell some but mostly focused my time on my second replay of Octopath Traveler. I seem to have this thing for starting long-a** JRPGs over at least once. So far I have managed to get 2 of the characters through their Chapter 2 stories and am working on Olberic's right now. Switch: Downwell -- 124 minutes Gato Roboto -- 220 minutes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe -- 522 minutes Octopath Traveler -- 1398 minutes

StormSurge
My wife and I enjoyed Stardew Valley, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. I enjoy these grindy-type games, so once I get a hang of the controls and figure out how to replenish my energy, I'm sure I'll be hooked.

Agamon
PC Crusader Kings 2 (491 min) The Long Dark (812 min) Finished the CK2 game, half of England short of the Empire of Britannia. I'm taking a break for now, but I would like to eventually try a different culture and perhaps start in the 9th century. So I picked an Canadian indie game called The Long Dark, a winter survival game. The protagonist is a pilot that crashes his plane somewhere in the northern Rockies during winter, due to a solar flare that takes out the power grid, while trying to transport his ex-wife to a small northern town for some mysterious emergency. The story is interesting and getting caught in a blizzard during a long trek can be harrowing.
