The supply of 8MB sram chips kind of dried up as they were being cleared out as EOL by one vendor for about $5 ea. I have a working prorotype with internal 256K SRAM shared to the Atari bus. The next step is to add an external bigger 8MBytes of RAM, and I suppose it will be working either.
