6BQ5
I've been running my STe in monochrome while I wait for a known-to-work-with-Framemeister SCART cable. Most games are out of the question. So, I've been installing productivity programs like Atari Works and configuring the system as a whole with XControl, CPX files, etc. What kind of little project can I take on in monochrome? Ideas, anyone?
tjlazer
There are lots of games that also work on mono! Sierra games for instance.
ParanoidLittleMan
Not to mention Oxyd and other ASH (Application System Heidelberg) games. Here is list of some (not complete): http://atari.8bitchip.info/monocg.html And making some RSC with RSC editor SW is almost like playing a game
LoTonah
I seem to remember Empire worked great on mono. Also played Shanghai quite a bit back in the day, too.

+DarkLord
Since I own a STacy I've kept a list of mono games - you'd be surprised just how many there are and how a few actually look better at the higher resolution. Hope this helps. PS And this list is by no means complete... SumnerS
When I first got my ST I only had the SM124 monitor, but I managed to find a few mono games that were alright. My particular ST was from a recording studio and came with a complete copy of Cubase that was kind of fun to mess with. The hi-res mode does look nice
