+bob1200xl
ClearPic 2002 is only somewhat better than the 4-parts/1-wire mod I just described. I have a number of 1200XLs that I play with, CF cards, 65816s and such. I don't go to the trouble of 2002 on them. If I am going to be staring at a 1200XL (programming or file works), I do 2002. +bob1200xl
So, update... Is the 1200XL working correctly, now? Sometimes the monitor pulls color signal out of the background noise if you are in s-video mode and CHROMA is not connected. Or any other improper configuration. Be sure you have things plugged right. Bob

There are more scrapes and scratches on this poor old 1200XL then on a car in a destruction derby. It's been in the attic for a long time, but I'm happy to report that it is now working better than ever! The only problem that I have with it now it is that I have to 'dink' with the color on the flat panel TV when I'm playing 'Eastern Front' because in the winter you can't tell the white Germany unit from the snow. Life can be very tuff! Thank you all for your input! David Edited February 17, 2019 by DavidMil
