Accessing BBS's through RespeQT?

Good Morning Everyone. I'm trying to connect through my PC to call BBSes via the internet from my 800xl. Does RespeQT allow for this operation? I'm using Lotharek's SIO2PC adapter and RespeQT works great loading files (using DSR) and I see in the lower right hand corner the icon that states "connected to the network" but I haven't had any luck. I appreciate any and all help you can offer. Thanks.
