+sm3
I'm a big fan of Udemy.com, every time there is a sale, I take a look and see if there is anything I might want to learn. Today I found a new Atari 2600 programming course. It's on sale now for $19.99: https://www.udemy.com/programming-games-for-the-atari-2600/ I figured I'd share it here. Hopefully it would be useful to someone. Never pay the full price at Udemy though. They always have sales for as low as $9.99 for a course so it pays to wait until the sale comes up, which is pretty often
pinkydutta
This is amazing!!! I was looking for something like this for a while. I don't know if anyone else tried this, but the course is incredible. I still have a couple of lectures to go, but I learned so much already. The same course is cheaper if you buy it from this link: http://pikuma.com I thought it would be good to share here, since udemy has its ups and down price days.
Endless Runner 2600
I just tried contacting the author to see if he is willing to offer a discount for the Udemy version so it costs the same as the website version. I will let you know as soon as I hear back.
MyPawnsEatPpl
I'm ready to sign up but I want to do the class on Udemy with all of my other classes and with Udemy features.
Endless Runner 2600
Got a response from the author. Quote: """ Hi, This is Gustavo. I work with the Pikuma team and I am the author of the Atari2600 course. Thanks for the message. The course is currently being sold as $11.99, but Udemy takes the extra money they are charging to themselves. That is why the price on Udemy is more expensive than the one on the Pikuma website. Udemy adds approximately 50% on top of every course and keeps the % to themselves. Since Pikuma.com is the home of the Atari2600 course, there is no % added to the original $11.99. Let me know if that helps. """ So if you still want to get the "Udemy features", be prepared to pay an additional $8 to line Udemy's fat wallets.
