emerson
My first guess would be bad a graphic RAM chip. What model intellivision is this?

emerson
If you have a flash cart there is a diagnostics rom here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/287135-inty-ii-diagnostic-rom-available/ Do you get graphical issues with every game or just this particular one? What is that game?
mr_me
It looks like the first four bits of a tile/sprite are fine and the last four bits are screwed up. Grom characters are not affected so it could have to do with the second graphics ram chip. Strange that you have two of them with the exact same problem. The cartridge is coleco ladybug. All cartridges should be doing the same thing. Edited March 16, 2019 by mr_me
emerson
I'm not sure if there is a drop in replacement part for this. You could always steal the good RAM chip from one console and put it in the other. I reccommend socketing the chips if you decide to do so. mr_me
If it is the gram, it's a 4-bit sram chip, and should be easy to find a replacement. You can use your good intellivision to verify this.
tynstar
I have 5 Intellivisions, 2 model 1's and 3 models 2's. It was the 2 model 2's that had this problem. Thanks for the info fellas.
