+madman
I've never heard of/seen a poster being included, I thought one of the Jags I've had over the years came with some sort of Jag merch catalog. I bought it secondhand so who is to say if it was original. I still have a NOS unit from Best, but it's sealed. I know Bradley throws in some extras with those. In true failing Atari fashion I'm sure this stuff varied. There's also that Japanese set that included AvP and Japanese manuals.
82-T/A
The Jaguars I bought from KayBee Toys back in ~1997, also had posters in them as well.
Gummy Bear
I've had several boxed jags in my life. Never had a poster in there
Major Havoc 2049
This is the poster that came with the Jaguar. The launch Jaguars also had a controller with a shorter cord than the controller sold separately and later controllers packed in with the Jaguar. Pete5125
Thanks, yeah I guess the word poster may have made people assume bigger, I still have one in the box, unused at some point going to have to sell it, but the back of the box has cool unreleased games like battle wheels and tiny toon adventures
UHATEIT
I have 2 different CIB units and one has Tiny Toons on the back and the other has Battle Wheels on the back. One has an American Flag on the front a d the other doesn't. One also has cybermorph printed on the box and the other has it as a decal instead. I don't know how many box variations there are tho. UHATEIT
As for the insides both of mine were brand new when I got them but I've never seen that cool poster before! Edited April 29, 2019 by UHATEIT
Major Havoc 2049
As for the insides both of mine were brand new when I got them but I've never seen that cool poster before! There was the original launch window ('93-'94) Jaguars with the Cybermorph pack-in and then later on, the 64-bit Power Kit, without Cybermorph. I think the Power Kits started to show up around Christmas of 1994. Brand new Jaguar boxes were sealed with a Jaguar hologram sticker. Did your boxes have the Jaguar hologram seal? +Nezgar
I recall my (Canada) Jaguar only came with an RF cable for audio/video. I remember being appalled at the poor picture so my dad got a composite/L/R cable like the next day.. Did other regions (PAL) get a different A/V hookup provided in the box? +CyranoJ
Jaguars sold in France included an RGB SCART cable. Are you sure it wasn't peritel?
Zerosquare
"Péritel" even, with that funky accent on the "e". But "SCART" is the same thing, and it's probably more well-known among non-French people Edited May 10, 2019 by Zerosquare
