John Stamos Mullet
So here's a weird one for you: Recently hooked up a still unmodded 7800 via RF to my main gaming TV. Even thought it is a newer 4K Sharp TV, it somehow has great RF receiver/filtering. Anyway - so normally, I would leave the channel selector on the console set to channel 3, as it is 2019, and there shouldn't be any analog terrestrial signals at this point, and even if there were, here in Boston there is no channel 3 but there is a channel 2 (WGBH - PBS). Yet oddly enough, the picture quality is WAY better from the RF of this unit over the channel 2 setting? Any ideas? There also seems to be this odd issue where 7800 games cause the video to have a weIrd, random momentary flicker of overdriven color/signal, but for like a fraction of a second, and completely randomly - then it goes back to normal. I'm assuming it's a cold solder joint or possibly a cap going bad, but just curious what you guys think.

Most (if not all) digital stations use UHF, even if your TV shows the channel in the VHF range (2-13). So that station would have no impact/conflict on the VHF signal coming from your 7800, as it's actually in a much different frequency range.
