JJohnson
I have a quick question. I see quite a few homebrew games. Which of these are "better" versions of existing games? I saw Pacman 4k and Space Instigators, I was just hoping to see which others I could try and compare to my originals. Thanks!
+Nathan Strum
Super Cobra Arcade, Space Rocks (Asteroids), Medieval Mayhem (Warlords), Gunfight (Outlaw), Incoming (Artillery Duel). It depends on how closely you think a remake should be to the original. Rainbow Invaders could be considered an improvement of Space Invaders. Warring Worms could be considered an improvement on Surround. Also, the Trak-Ball hacks are certainly an improvement from a playability standpoint over the originals. Mr SQL
Rainbow Space Invaders is awesome! I just downloaded this ROM and added it to the Space Invaders folder on my Harmony cart Inv21 is another fantastic port of space invaders using playfield semi-graphics for sprites you should definitely check out and the recently released Space Invaders for Girls. I couldn't find the link for Inv2, perhaps someone can share it.
