Tempest
Has anyone hacked Xenophobe for infinite health? I want to see the ending but level 15 or so is about as high as I can get. If not infinite health, maybe infinite lives instead?
+-^CrossBow^-
Does it have an ending? The 7800 version seems to rotate over on the ships and just levels off on the difficulty until you eventually die. I figured the game just goes on and on.. ?
Tempest
Yep. On station 23 you have to kill the Queen. I love that both Xenophobe and Rampage actually have endings on the Lynx.

I'd kill for infinite time and fuel in APB, just to explore the scenery haha

Nop90
When I searched it I didn't find the hacked rom, but if you know the exact sequence it's not hard to activate the hidden game from the unmodified rom.

UHATEIT
If anything I need a hacked Battlewheels rom I just get murdered in that game everytime! Hacked Blue Lightning would also be sweet too
Kyle22
Is there a hacked Atari 800 version that is not as difficult? I get killed every time. Those nasty biting things are heard too frequently on my GTIA speaker.
Zendocon
Xenophobe has 23 levels. There are 7 levels that you play three times through in the middle, plus a unique first and last stage. The Health gauge is a 16-bit unsigned value, meaning it can go up to 65,535. I remember applying a poke with an early version of Handy. The key is practice, to learn what to avoid. Definitely avoid getting zapped by the Festors, and getting jumped into by the Snotterpillers. Also don't fall into the Reactor core. Learn what the various items do. One thing not everybody seems to know is that you can use the Tools to repair the machine that spits out bombs on the second level. Once that's done, you can max out your bombs count.
