Northcoastgamer
Twenty-four rounds already. Time does fly doesn't it? Like the last time we played Pitstop there will be some with the same max score most likely , so we will be going with Best Time for scoring this round. Best of Luck! jblenkle
I seem to recall I suck at this game too...so what happens if we are unable to finish all nine laps? If our positioning is by time will you count the laps completed as the first criteria and then the time? So if one person were able to complete 7 laps in 8:00 and someone else completed 6 laps in 7:00, the 7 lap person would finish ahead of the 6 lap person even though the 6 lap person had a faster time?

It's not too difficult to finish all 9 laps. You have been pretty consistent thus far this season. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

I finished it with only two tries. You can do it!

DuggerVideoGames
5:32 this time. Getting closer! I could probably shave a few more seconds by not filling up with a full tank of gas during my stop. Need to pay attention to how much gas I'm finishing with.
digress
6:26 I barely beat 8:00 earlier then tried once more and shaved 1;30 off my time on 3 bald tires Edited July 11, 2019 by digress
DuggerVideoGames
Was anybody else curious to see what kind of time they'd get in a 3-lap race with no stops in the pit? I tried it and got 1:35.
S.BAZ
I keep exploding... don't see a damage counter but I guess this is caused from collision damage.

I usually end up wasting time in the pit stops.

Watch the color of your tires. They start out blue and change color with wear. Red tires will usually explode within 1 lap so make a pit stop to change them. Also, overfilling the gas tank causes it to explode and you have to refuel again.
DuggerVideoGames
5:28 this time. Finally. I take way too much time in the pit, though. My pit stop is always about 40 seconds.

Northcoastgamer
Looks like it is going to be quite the round. Good stuff so far, good stuff!
Northcoastgamer
5:13 (Le Mans). Pitted on lap four. Had plenty of time for gas man right away then tire changers as car was fueled. Still sloppy, left some time on the table. Pitstop time was 23.8. Still room for improvement. Under 5:00 seems possible with some practice. Northcoastgamer
5:05 (Le Mans). One pitstop on lap 4. Pitstop was 18.8.
jblenkle
Yeah, I panicked for nothing. I finally finished it, just not very fast. I have a lot of trouble doing the pitstop. I go through too many tires and it took me awhile not to overfill my gas tank. The other cars are merciless too...always banging into me. 20 hours ago, Northcoastgamer said: It's not too difficult to finish all 9 laps. You have been pretty consistent thus far this season. Northcoastgamer
Pitting on lap 4 allows enough time to start the gasman, then change all four tires, stop the gasman and get out of the pits in under 20 seconds. Pitting on lap 3 is too early. You can start the gasman, but you'll only be able to change one side of tires before stopping the gasman , then changing the other two tires. Pitting on lap five is too late. You can start the gasman and change all four tires, but then you'll have to wait on the gasman to get enough fuel in the car to finish the race, costing precious seconds. Perhaps I can do a quick video.

I thought we could only do one task at a time, so I never changed the tires until after my gasman was done. Now I know to change the tires WHILE the gasman is pumping.
