My Small Video Game Collection

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I am excited to show you guys my small video game collection! As stated it's not huge, but I consider it to be big enough for now! (Note: The camera quality is not that great, so please forgive me.)

First of all, I have pretty much all of my video game stuff in this Sega retail display case. From what I know, these type of cases are quite rare. All I know about this thing is that my dad had this sitting in the basement for a long time, so I asked him if I could have it and he said yes. It now serves its purpose again by displaying video games. It also has lighting, but I need to get some clear shelves for light to shine through each shelf.

On top of my case, I have my Atari 2600 Sunnyvale Light Sixer, along with a Wii Mini box and a wooden Mario and Luigi (which I made) in the background.

On the case's shelf, I have some assorted video game goodness. The main attraction in the case is the NES Action Set CIB with CIB and loose games that my dad's friend gave to me! I also have a few loose Atari 2600 games lined up in the front and a brand new Atari 2600 Basketball game in the middle.

At the bottom of my case I have most of my collection of Atari 2600 arcade ports (including the semi-rare Pengo). I also have some CIB Atari 2600 games, but I forgot to take a picture of them. I also forgot to take a picture of my gaming desk, where I have my Wii Mini ("worst Nintendo console ever"), mini TV, Game Boy clock, and a few other things.

Behold, to all of the video game collectors out there! This is my "secret" drawer of BNIB video game stuff! As you can tell, I love bubble wrap! For the Atari 2600, I have Robot Tank, Battlezone, and Defender. I also have an NES and SNES Classic Edition. And what's this in the bottom left corner? A brand new Game Boy Pocket (Red)!

Well, that's pretty much it for the collection! I hope you all enjoyed looking! I will provide updates to stuff that I get for the collection in the future.

August 2019 Update

This is my first posted update for my video game collection! Not only am I going to show some new stuff that I got, but I'll include some of the stuff that I forgot to take pictures of the last time and more!

I'll start off with the stuff that I forgot to take pictures of the last time. Here are the CIB games that I have so far.

Next, here are the PS2, NES, and NES Classic that are in our living room.

Also, here are all of the games that we have for our NES.

Now, it's time for some of the stuff that I currently added to the collection! Here I have an Atari 2600 Pac-Man certificate and an Activision Dragster patch and letter (the letter is a repro). I don't know too much about the certificate, but if anyone does let me know!

Finally, I have Rubik's Cube for the Atari 2600! I want to get a NOS Rubik's Cube to go with it, but that's for another day.

That's all for now! I'll provide another update next month! :)

Just saying, Flojomojo (if you're reading this), but why was you wondering about my age?

Cool stuff you added there! As for the repro letter? I'd toss it and some day try to get a real one. It's just a hunk of paper and the patch displays just fine without it. :)

  • Thanks 1
