C-64 OutRun holds a special place in my memory, as it was the first game I bought for my Commodore 64, and it was the first game that showed me the havoc a misaligned disk drive can wreck on copy-protected disks! Thankfully when the drive decided to work again, I stayed up 'til 2 AM that first night (no small feat for a teenager still used to having curfews) playing it over and over!
