Dutchman2000
Here is an early version of Anthony Weber's version of Gyruss. This unfortunately lacks collision detection and more levels. Music is pretty good though. The ship moves very smoothly as well, I really hope a later version is out there somewhere! This is an autoboot disk. www.atarimania.com
Even unfinished, it's amazing we get to see what the original game was to be, thanks so much! Note that you can just pull out the AUTORUN.SYS file from the disk and rename it to .xex format :Gyruss.xex Now that we're getting super thirsty, any chance of Eyes, the Scott, Foresman titles or the Atari educational programs?
Urchlay
Not familiar with the story... was the released Gyruss game based on this code, or was it a completely different implementation? Atarimania doesn't list an author for the Gyruss that got released...

Mclaneinc
There's not really much to review, you can't shoot anything, nothing can kill you so its a 1 screen only job Unless someone has found a level skipper?
