Awesome Amiga control pads

I am not affiliated with this seller in any way, but I have now purchased multiple controllers from him:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-Controller-Gamepad-Commodore-64-Control-Pad-Power-Stick-3-button/263986698931?hash=item3d76d55ab3:g:KLMAAOSwnhlcE-vO

These controllers are fantastic. It is not a rehashed NES shell or anything, these are professionally made new gamepad shells. The PCB inside is his own design too. Since he sells controllers for multiple platforms I started with a Commodore controller for my Vic-20, then purchased this one linked for the Amiga, and purchased two more Commodore controllers for my C64...and one more controller for my SMS.

They are all just plain awesome. The button mapped to "Up" makes me love Great Giana Sisters and Moon Patrol that much more :)

Just a heads up on a great seller and a great guy. I am now buying these controllers from him outside of ebay for a bit less (found him on Facebook). Just a heads up if you are looking for fantastic new control pad type controllers for a reasonable price.

I got the Atari 7800 version of this pad. Basically, if you are comfortable with oldskool NES game pads, they work fine. My big old partially arthritic hands have issues with them, and get crampy if I play more than a few minutes. I'm glad I got a few Competition Pro Cd-32 pads back when they were new-ish and not stupid expensive on the secondary market. They're more comfy for me.

The UP mapping is a must now for me. Brings a new level of fun and accuracy to jumping games (like Giana, Megatwins, etc). There are also adapters that auto map a Genesis button to up as well as protect the port from damage while using Genesis pads on Commodore machines. Its great there are so many options now!

If you can find one, the KTRL-CD32 pad is excellent. It's a USB SNES pad clone that's been gutted and a new circuit board inserted that gives it CD32 capability, as well as allowing lots of different remappings. It works as a 2-button pad for non-CD32 pad games, but can still use the other buttons for remapping jump, for example. And it's a lot more ergonomic than those square-cornered ones.

More info and pics here.
