Knuxie
Hey everyone, I was curious if anyone has modeled a dust cover for the Jaguar cartridge slot, and would share the .STL? I'd much prefer printing my own, over buying them on etsy, but none are available on thingiverse.

Stage_1_Boss
Am I doing it wrong by just keeping a cart in the slot? Should I also get one of these hi-tech pieces of cardboard?
Machine
Thinking about doing a "Limited Edition Cartboard Slot Cover" if Gummy isn't up for it. Interest Check?
Stage_1_Boss
As long as I have a cardboard box for my cardboard slip, I don't want it getting dusty. Any chance we can get a manual too describing how to use it?

Any chance we can get a manual too describing how to use it? Of course! I would not want anyone installing this high-tech item improperly. I have run the numbers, and if I re-use an old Amazon Prime box, I should be able to produce these for next to nothing. I would need at least 3 pre-orders to green-light the project!

amiman99
I can do it. I'm on the roll right now. P.S. Something like this? Edited November 2, 2019 by amiman99
KevinMos3
Been using a little piece of foam since the '90s. Also cut one for the 7800 back then. That proposed 3D printed plastic slot cover looks nice. Edited November 2, 2019 by KevinMos3
amiman99
I need to print one first to see if it fits, then readjust. Personally, I keep my Jaguar in a generic box, seems to be working fine (no excessive dust accumulation).

amiman99
Yes, it's up side down. "Jaguar" is possible, Atari symbol, I'm not sure. Atari corp is sue happy. Some printers have a hard time printing complex first layer, so any writing may cause some challenges in printing.

Machine
I printed some Amiibo stands with the printing down and it turned out really nice. The Jaguar should look great!
amiman99
Those stand-offs are not solid when printed, one side broke. I need a different way to secure the cover. Probably using the sides. To prevent scratching it would be better to use flexible filament.
