AV Mod Question

Hello,
I’m in the process of modding my 2600 4-Switch…S-Video/Composite/Stereo.
I noticed, on the 2600 motherboard, that the Pin connections #12 and #13, of the TIA chip-socket ,are soldered together (see attached photo). I Googled for the TIA Chip pinouts and discovered that these are “AUD1” and “AUD0”. Note: Both pins have separate connections on the Mod board.
My question is, do I need to break this solder connection, between these two pins, in order to allow for stereo sound?

Thanks,

StephenJ
