Aaron Spinks
Does anyone have experience with these controllers? I got two for 40.00 that price includes shipping. Are they worth that and any good on the coleco?
youki
I had used them back in time , according to my memories they were pleasant to use. But personally i have the preference for the ATARI CX 24 (PRO LINE) joystick. I had them back in time that i had modified to be able to use the 2 buttons on the colecovision. The first series of these joysticks where indestructible!!. The only ones that survived to Decathlon!!. I still have the joystick i had in 1984 and it still works!. Unfortunaly then , i think they reduce costs... and the later produced are bad quality.
TeddyBear89
The side buttons on these are difficult to use (you need to push them unnecessarily hard compared to the stock controller) Granted that most games don't require the use of both buttons.....I bought this controller mainly for the Coleco port of Lode Runner and H.E.R.O. (which use both side buttons) and was very disappointed. I'm no fan of the stock controller but it is the much better option between the two. A side note: With H.E.R.O. it turns out that you can plug a regular one button joystick into the second controller port (allowing you to control the guy identical to the VCS version). Sometimes it pays to actually read the instruction manual!

I would say they are a good buy
