4300 Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Great work! I did the same to mine using 1000, 1500 grit paper and fine steel wool. The strip is pretty soft stuff and it doesn't take muck work to get the scratches out. I think you could get a mirror fairly easily, if you wanted that look. Yeah it's very soft, it's either aluminum or tin. Tin is certainly cheaper but the strip on the 7800 is not magnetic at all. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
