Let's Create Our Own Rating System!

Recommended Posts

The ESRB rating system is great and all, but let's see how you would change the rating system if you could. Here's mine:

E for "Education"
For video games that educate the player on anything ranging from math-survival tips.

G for "General Audience"
For games like Mario, Sonic, Puzzle Games, and non-graphic sports games.

T for "Teen"
Like how it is now, except instead of 13+, it's 10+. For games like Street Fighter, and sports games like American Football and Hockey.

T+ for "Teens 15+"
For games with mild blood, suggestive themes, mild sexual themes, profanity, and comical gore.

AO "Adults only"
For games with heavy use of profanity, Sexual Themes, Violence, Blood and Gore, and Illegal activities.

X
You know what this means...

As you can see, I took inspiration from both the ESRB and MPAA rating system. I decided to eliminate E10 and M (since they seem kinda useless to me) and replaced them with T+ and AO (different from the current AO, it's more like M).

Now, some of you may agree on my rating style, but most of you won't, so show me how you would do a rating system!
