Tempest
I remember getting PoP for my IIe when it was first released. I couldn't believe that an Apple IIe could run such a game. At the time I was already jealous of the IBM PC and other computers like the C64 and Amiga which seemed like they could run rings around my IIe, but here was a game that not only looked as good as any PC game but played well too! I played the crap out of PoP and beat it numerous times. It's still a great game, especially on the IIe.
