False!  You do not need an adapter to add an SSD to a Falcon.  This one connects directly to the Falcon cable, just like the Kingston I have in mine.

Well, I did not see such type of SSD  yet. Usual SSD is with SATA conn.  Not sure that write will be OK, reliable. That needs tests.

What is proven, cheaper, takes less space is Sandisk Compact Flash.

Yeah, works fine.  They are rather expensive for the size.

The other alternative that I bought for for my PPC macbook that has MorphOS on it, I bought an IDE to mSATA adapter.  That OS on that system boots in a second.
