Halycon275
Ok so i have 6 questions, 5 regarding the 2600 Jr and one personal 1. on the top right of the board, i saw a tiny thing that said NEC Malaysia 625k, what is it? 2. Where are the ROM and RAM chips on the 6507 board (Rev 4, at least on mine) 3. there's a piece of tape looking thing on the bottom, underneath the cover of the 2600 , it looks like clear tape. where does it connect? if so, how do i connect it? 4. Where can i get replacement screws and cables (the half foot long cable that came with it is coax only, incredibly stiff and gave bad picture, i want to use Composite if possible, my room has enough wires as is). 5. Is there an Everdrive or flash cart that i can buy to play the entire library of Atari 2600 games? this epidemic is not the best time to be games shopping and i'm on a budget. (how does the store function on here anyway? are the games shipped to your address? Local Pickup? 6. What are some good books on 6502/6507 programming. it should have example code and be geared towards beginners. Happy June , Day early i know
+bcombee
The 2600 doesn't have a built-in ROM chip, that's always supplies by the game cartridge. The 128 bytes of RAM are part of the 6532 RIOT chip.

+bcombee
For learning 2600 programming, see the programming forum here. There's also a book, Making Games for the Atari 2600 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4DSRIZ/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_8-b1EbV9TNKKN
