TeddyBear89
What was the promotion offered by Parker Brothers that resulted in a few of my manuals (Frogger, Popeye) having the bottom left corner cut off (for the proof of purchase?) My mom worked at K Mart and was very aware of these types of promotions and I have no doubt I got something for free in the mail - I just can't remember what it was? Any help? mbd30
I remember a promotion to win a Popeye arcade unit when I got the game for the Atari 2600 back in the day. But I don't remember any details.

I don't know if it was related to this, but I seem to recall Parker Brothers having a promotion where they told you to call a toll-free number to get a some kind of message. I remember calling it once from a phone booth. I don't remember what the message was :)
TeddyBear89
As I have been going through (and organizing) my entire collection I again came across several Parker Brothers game manuals that had the front corner proof of purchase cut off. While it could have been for a Popeye arcade cabinet contest there are just too many manuals that have this corner missing on Ebay and even the AA For Sale/Trade sections. It must have been a "get a free game in the mail" promotion....but what for? Just doing a topic bump because not knowing is driving me crazy! I know, first world problems......
