+nanochess
Hi. Just found this new Dr. Ports video about a port of arcade FANTASY. To be honest I never heard of the arcade before, just searched for it and is pretty impressive this port looks so close to the arcade.
+cmadruga
Excellent! Plus I love how the Good Doctor provides medical advice at the end of his YouTube comments (under the video). "Stay safe, wash your hands and eat your vegetables." 1
Mockduck
I hadn't even heard of this one until I recently picked up the SNK Collection (2018) on Switch. It's on there and plays well. What a truly weird game.

TPR
It's an obscure game for sure! There was even a "Fantasy-inspired" port on the ColecoVision called "Search for the Crown Jewels."
Zendocon
I had played Fantasy a number of years ago, but not until I bought the SNK 40th Anniversary compilation did I realize it had synthesized voices which are very good for the time. That would sound great with the IntelliVoice.

+intellivotion
I love multi-stage games like this, even though I had never heard of this one before. Though, I see it's not perfect yet... ...it misses a release date
+cmart604
Don't remember this from the arcade but like Simone said, the multi stage aspect is cool. Looking forward to seeing what Dr Ports comes up with next.

imstarryeyed
That is a great looking and sounding port.. I was waiting for the jungle lion chase scene to see if they would include the "Funkytown" riff like in the arcade... my heart was a flutter when I heard it and saw the ridiculously drawn lion chasing the character... just like the arcade! I used to play that game with a friend at a skating rink in the mid 80s.. One of my obscure games I love along with.. Jack the Giant Killer.. I wonder how many of you folks remember playing this game back in the day? This one was a bowling alley where I used to play it, a lot harder then it looks by the way. I would love to see a port of this for any retro console.. Edited August 31, 2020 by imstarryeyed
