+Larry
With the pandemic, there seems to be resurgence of netbooks for education (Chrome and Windows 10), but certainly with better specs by far than those sold 10 years or so ago. Here's one I ran across, and a newer 4 GB ram model with larger EMMC drive is supposedly in the works. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08761XR49?pf_rd_r=9ECM3KMC5VXWSZ5FS9XD&pf_rd_p=edaba0ee-c2fe-4124-9f5d-b31d6b1bfbee Is anyone using a similar netbook with APE or RespeQt? Looks to have plenty of features/speed for simple applications like our drive emulators.
Wrathchild
In the past people have run APE on something like a Toshiba Libretto and so something like this should be fine https://atariage.com/forums/search/?q=Toshiba Libretto&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=12 Another option, if you've had a phone upgrade and kept the old phone, can be to use AspeQt for Android on it, e.g. I've used a Samsung Galaxy S7 via SIO2BT. Guest
i use one of these: Asus Transformer T102HA 4gb ram, reasonably fast cpu and (with the sd card) plenty of storage it's easily up to the job - i also run my astronomy software on it
+DrVenkman
I’ve run RespeQt on a Raspberry Pi Zero W, and aside from trouble with ATX files, it ran just fine. ANY notebook available today (and most Android tablets) would run RespeQt perfectly well.
