+bhall408
Project Argon graduated this week from our closed alpha test to early beta/open testing, and is now simply Argon. If you have an Android device (phone, tablet, TV, HDMI stick) or Chromebook, I invite you to try our public beta, and give us your feedback! You can download the current version of the beta via the Google Play link at: https://www.markspace.com/argon/ Later on during the beta, we will be making available versions for Amazon (Fire TV, Fire Tablet) and Raspberry Pi. You can find some help online at: https://support.markspace.com • Adding games to “My Library” (BYO/Sideloading) • BYO Game Controllers • Game Controller Mapping in Argon • Keyboard Controller Mapping with Argon • TV Controller Mapping in Argon Some cool stuff Argon supports for Coleco games... SGM Support Stereo output (sounds great with headphones) Unlimited sprites per scan line (ala, “F18”) In addition to Coleco, Argon is also compatible with games for Atari 2600, Atari Lynx, Vectrex and Intellivision. More coming! If you happen to develop or publish games for any of those systems, and would like to see them included in Argon, either in the free section, or licensed to us, please contact me. Please give Argon a try and let us know what you think — this is early beta, and we’re eager to get feedback! Brian 3
+LS650
Just installed this on my new Chromebook and I'm playing with it now. So far I have played a few of the Vectrex games, and i can tell you it runs fairly well on my Chromebook with a USB gamepad attached. Good graphics and sound. I'll have to try a few of the other consoles out.
