Randy
different borders, etc., on WB 3.1? I don't really see any obvious way to do it and want to change the deadly dull gray background I have now with advertising for the dealer I bought my WB 3.1 CF from. Thanks
Daedalus2097
Haha, they added their logo as a background? That's funny In Workbench, in the Preferences drawer, there's a program called WBPattern. This is for setting the background images or patterns for the Workbench screen, the Workbench window and the directory windows. The borders are essentially fixed, though you can change the colours used in the Palette preferences. There are a couple of patches you can use to change the look however - VisualPrefs lets you modify the look of the border gadgets, and Birdie lets you add patterns and gradients to the background of the borders. Both are slightly hacky, but are reasonably stable. You can get them both from Aminet.
+OLD CS1
Borders are borders, but you can expand your screen size using the Overscan preference. I used to expand my Workbench screen to occupy as much of the visible area of the monitor as possible.
