Quote function: change driver club banner to alfa 155 Yep, got that. Quote benefits: we get to look at something tastier than whatever ancient alfa the current banner is Heh, that's funny See next comment. Quote downfalls: classic alfa fans (which don't exist anyways) get angry Ah. So apparently I (and the other Alfa people who have been doing this longer than I have) don't exist. Neither I nor them are angry. We're just giggling at your approach. Quote are others interested: people who want something sexier to their eyes. I'd suggest an Alfa Arna, in that case. Quote p.s. not the base model that looks normal something like the quadrifoglio or the gta stradale that actually looks hot Yep, definitely the Alfa Arna. I'm open to changing things, but don't make the request by slagging off someone else's taste. Edited December 6, 2020 by x=usr(1536)
bluejay
What! People actually like 50s and before Alfas! Impossible! But the front of the Arna looks like an Opel/Vauxhall... Rear is definitely Alfa but front looks too GM. Meanwhile 155 looks totally and completely Italian. Edit: upon closer inspection the Arna looks like a British Ford. They're amazing cars but they aren't Alfas. Edited December 6, 2020 by bluejay
+x=usr(1536)
The Arna was an Alfa-Romeo / Nissan tie-up. It's also total crap: I bought one to find out how bad it was, and it was worse than I thought it could be. Sent it to the scrapyard with no regret whatsoever. One of my first cars was a 1982 Ford Capri 2.0 with the 5-speed gearbox from a Sierra. It was a press fleet car from Ford UK before my Godmother bought it; I got it from her but it was unfortunately totalled after hitting black ice one night at about 60mph. Bored it out to around 2.3 and did a few other things to it before that happened, though...
bluejay
Aye a Capri. Very nice. I like my Sierras though, particularly the Sierra Sapphire (Cosworth). Escorts and Cortinas are near as well. British Fords are the best. Oh, and of course the Mondeo too. But seriously, the front of the Arna's front end reminds me of an Opel of the era and the rear reminds me of the Sierra with the stupid little wing sticking out on its rear. Didn't Alfa do a collaboration with Mazda at some point as well? I vaguely remember reading about it somewhere but I'm not sure.
