Dionoid
Hi, I was wondering if a Harmony cart has some unique ID or serial code that can be read? Or maybe the ARM7TDMI-S LPC2103 microcontroller has some UUID that can be used for this? I'd want to use this to generate an encrypted string that can only be verified/decrypted on the same Harmony cartridge as it was generated on. Thomas Jentzsch
Don't think so. AFAIK the CPU doesn't provide a unique id.

The ARM chip itself doesn't have a unique code, but two other chips/parts on the cart do have serial numbers. In order to utilize the serial number, some new code must be written that extracts this information and makes it more readily available. It's one of the things on the drawing board for a new firmware.
