I have seen similar from people who did composite mods of the 7800 without removing the audio from the composite going to the RF. teknohed Posted July 26, 2023 Share Posted July 26, 2023 Didn't get a response to this so I decided to just crack it open and have a go at all the solder joints just in case something was bridged. I shortened the wire lengths in several cases to clean it all up a bit. resoldered all the connections to the resistor bridge and re-soldered all the connections to the RCA jacks.
