Simon Carter
Hi, I've just picked up a 410 Cassette deck, sadly with no power supply cable. Are there any suitable alternatives that I could use rather than trying to hunt down an original PSU (seems to be quite hard in the UK). TIA
Mclaneinc
Eeek, just looked at my 410 and the voltages etc I initially are right but it seems to be using a 3.5 jack, never owned one of these till a few weeks back and I don't have the PSU myself.. A supply of an amp(?) that is 6vDC with the centre pin positive will do but I would imagine you would need to buy the 3.5 mono plug and solder it yourself.. mimo
Yeah, I bought one of those universal jobbies from eBay. 3-12 volt DC with loads of different sized connections
Mclaneinc
I think some of those have a 3.5 plug on? I have a box load of PSU's but none with a 3.5 on and as I won't be using the 410 I'll not bother with making a lead...

TGB1718
I still have my 410 recorder that was purchased with my 800, it takes it's power from a jack in the side of the 800 power supply
