Albert
Immunity is going to make its physical debut at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo in October! Here's the final box artwork, designed by @BitJag: If you're unable to attend the show, Immunity will be available in the AtariAge Store in November. ..Al
+BitJag
With Immunity coming to the store soon, I wanted to personally thank @Sohl and @Albert again for allowing me to work on the box art illustration and manual for this incredibly involved and fun Atari 2600 game. It's astounding to me what the 2600 can do, and Immunity does this in a way I haven't seen before on the system. With a 30 page "Lab Notebook" (manual), this is a ton to wrap your head around, but it's very satisfying when the mechanics of the game set in. Here is a short time lapse of the illustration coming together. Something I don't often mention with these illustrations is that they are done in a way were they are horizontally seamless, so the artwork is continues as you flip it around. It can be tricky to design for this, but it does make the overall box feel more cohesive. Enjoy!

You took my rough vision and made it better and more complete with your tremendous talent and skills. I'm honored to have you as my artist and manual designer! I'm going to forward this video to friends and family! Edited December 14, 2023 by Sohl
KevKelley
This was a game that interested me from the start because it checks all the boxes. Unique subject matter. Check. Creative gameplay mechanics. Check. Colorful. Check. Its nice to see original content come to the Atari, even after 40+ years of game releases.

Living Room Arcade
@Sohl This game looks great! The animations are silky smooth. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm glad that you recovered from your own, personal battle with the coronavirus. Do you have an updated game manual to share with us to go along with the demo ROM download? Thank you again.
