Shift838
Anyone have a ST225/251 etc 1/2 faceplate for a seagate drive. I just need a photo of the back. I need to make a couple on my 3d printer and i have the measurements of what is needed, but I cannot recall if there was a light pipe going to the front or it was just a colored piece of acrylic. Shift838
thank you. you got it for me. the backside of the front bezel. I thought it was just a colored piece of plastic. just needed to make sure. i'll just design it for a 5mm LED lens cover in green.
Shift838
This is what I have come up with. it's almost 150mm long, 43mm tall and 3mm deep. will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to print. hopefully it will line up nicely.
wierd_w
You might want to put a heavy fillet on the top and bottom of those tabs. 3D printed materials tend to not be so strong with their layer adhesion, and those tabs could pop off.

Thanks for the suggestion I have put in a fillet on the tabs as suggested. I printed a faceplate and it fits nicely. Now I just need to get some LED lens covers to put on it.
