Harry Potter
Hi! I recently downloaded the Franny utility only to find that it came with no pre-compiled binary. I just tried to compile it with Open Watcom and got an error message stating that, in line 186 of atr.cpp, the symbol "exception" was not declared. How do I fix this? bob_er
Two questions: 1. Which C++ standard does your compiler support? 2. Do you have any chance to use GCC instead of OW?
Harry Potter
I don't know, and no. Sorry.

danwinslow
3 hours ago, Harry Potter said: I don't know, and no. Sorry. It would be unusual to not be able to use GCC. What OS are you on? If you are on windows, you should be able to use MinGW: http://mingw-w64.org/doku.php
TGB1718
Not sure what your trying to compile on, but a quick look says it's target is unix/linux, I tried it on a Raspberry Pi and it did a clean compile, I also tried using Cygwin64 under Win10, and the compiled fine too. Edit: Meant to say it runs ok too Edited April 19, 2021 by TGB1718
