Anyone use MISTer for Coco?

I've been kicking around the idea of getting back into CoCo-ing and with prices on actual hardware just being more than I'm willing to spend, I thought about going the FPGA route. I read that there is a CoCo 3 core for the mister but I haven't read any feedback on how well it works.   Does anyone here use mister and the CoCo core or know how well it all works?

From what I know (granted, it is very little), I believe the CoCo 3 core on the MiSTer should be good.  I believe the fellas and/or contributors over at Amigos Retro Gaming (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtsK4QYe2tRdIxoZxwkX3Ww) might be able to provide further information for you.  Definitely check them out as there are a couple of videos going over what they recommend MiSTer wise and how to set things up.

It's hard to say precisely what state it's in (as is often the case with FPGA cores). There are actually 2 CoCo projects for MiSTer, one open source and the other on Patreon.

I've been meaning to check it out for quite some time now but haven't got around to it yet. I think the open source one only supports .cas files which is a bit of a bummer.
