It's Screaming Villains that re-released the FMV games (Night Trap, Ground Zero Texas, etc.) and Ziggurat is in charge of American Hero. They re-released ground Zero Texas? KidGameR186496
Now that i think about it, it was a missed opportunity not include Caves of Fear as a bonus demo alongside American Hero, given that it was the first to use the GameFilm technology and was showcased at closed doors during E3 1995 (according to AEO, at least). Oh well... Edited July 1, 2021 by KidGameR186496

I'm going to grab it but just noticed file size is like 9gb!! How does that happen? It will be interesting to see how much bloat creeps into AH. Also with Netflix trying to dip hand into gaming, I could see all these games making a quick comeback, to get service started, as they would be easy games to use tv remote with, and cheap to dip toe into mkt. See if it drove intrest then move into other directions

Night Trap is out again, Mad Dog Mcree… Even Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties is getting re released. So many drunken college memories of that one. It's insane how much longevity the footage from many of these games had. Night Trap for example was shot in 1987, first used in 1993 (Sega CD), then better quality in 1994 (3DO, CD32x), Director's Cut in 1995 (PC). Then 22 years later it pops back up in 2017 (Windows, PS4) and 2018 (Switch, Vita). All this for a game based around the mere novelty of FMV, something we quickly got sick of - yet we won't let it die.
JagChris
Hopefully AH has better quality control than GZT Which has some really bad almost game breaking collision detection bugs. And looking at the community forums it appears people have been hollering about this for the past 3 months With no response or resolution. Probably would of been forgotten if not for the girl from different strokes having a small part in it and Senate using it as a example of the reason we need game ratings, as a game even a fmv game nit much to it. Is interesting as it was assumed to be what would be the next generation of games sega cd/3d0/atari jaguar cd/cdi/pc cd, yet it never got past point and click, choose your own adventure would be more fun.
