OldPAL
One of the lot I got had this very aged Grand Prix game with pink label, blue road, and no spring. But it is a standard shell rather than the Activision branded one. I was wondering if this was Activision's doing or a bootlegger's
+groundtrooper
I seriously doubt it. Is the game in the cart actually Grand Prix?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BONEMAN
Can you take a picture of the front of the cart?

You can see the indentations left in the label from the two original screws; there are no screw posts at those locations in Atari's shells, which have only one screw in the center.
Mockduck
Could be a local fix, maybe a cart was smashed and they took an unwanted atari cart and swapped over the PCB and sticker?

Excellent, thank you!
Video
Were Atari and Activision pcbs compatible though? Like said above, Atari carts have a central screw while Activision has two. Never saw an Activision pcb, but assumed they may have made use of the lack of a central post to have longer pcbs or something.
