Intelligentleman
Was hoping we could list everything needed for a good Aquarius dev setup for my Mac Book Pro. I'm going to the beach for vacation, and I'm hoping to spend some of my time tinkering on Aquarius. I don't want to bring the actual computer because it's too much to pack. AquaLite Aquarius Draw What else... Edited July 11, 2021 by Intelligentleman
jltursan
I'm not a Mac user; but as vscode is also available for this platform here's my recommendation. With the help of some of the Z80 oriented plugins, vscode is a great dev tool. If you're experienced enough, you can create a task and build your source and launch the emulator from vscode itself. About the Z80 assembler (btw, are you going to develop in assembler?), no idea about what's available for Mac, I'm using myself sjasm 0.42c; but you can use any other you're used to...

Thanks for the reply. For now my plan is to write in BASIC. Then perhaps go back and machine code some things.
jltursan
I've no experience coding in Aquarius BASIC; but probably a good text editor like Notepad++ with a home-made Aquarius BASIC syntax highlighter could be enough. Btw, have you checked [AQUARIUS] BASIC Programming on the Aquarius? Edited July 13, 2021 by jltursan
