ilmenit
Hi, I found some time recently to prepare a public release of the level editor for "Adam Is Me". Compiled version for Windows can be download here: https://github.com/ilmenit/AdamIsMe/raw/master/AIM-Editor-2021-08-09.zip Let me know if you have any issues with it or any related questions. Some questions may be already answered in the manual https://github.com/ilmenit/AdamIsMe/raw/master/Adam Is Me - Editor.docx Also the game became open source, to make porting to other platforms (or other expansions/improvements) possible: https://github.com/ilmenit/AdamIsMe Looking forward for new and challenging levels! Enjoy! Edited August 9, 2021 by ilmenit 15
ilmenit
I found some old versions - may be interesting for some how the development process looked like, especially before the graphician joined the team. AIM-history.zip
Awch
This is such a great game! It's crazy how often I get stuck, come back later, finish the level and wonder why I thought it was so hard the first time. It causes a lot of "just one more try" attempts in a session. Thanks! 1
ilmenit
Last week "Adam Is Me" was introduced on the ZeroPage Homebrew channel, and in the first levels there were crashes. Did anyone encounter this problem playing from the cartridge or from ATR? If yes, on which hardware configuration? _The Doctor__
@ZeroPage Homebrew Dunno, is this guy using the the SIO cord AVG, or just the loader? Did he try the SIDE loader under avg as well? Did he try the .CAR version under avg? Did he have lastest firmware updated to avg? More than one way to skin this cat so to speak... @tmp may have some more ideas but it's best to try the above suggestions first Edited September 3, 2021 by _The Doctor__

I can test it on my 800XL or 65XE in the mean time to see if it crashes loading it the same way, which would point more to the AVG cart side of things. I'll let you guys know if I'm able to do that. - James 1
tmp
well, since he used sio cable (so avgcart is off the bus and just acting like a dumb sio device) and since the crash seems to happen mid-level (where i assume no loading is happening), it should be a small chance that it's cart's fault

Just tested the game on my (new to me) 800XL with the same AVG Cart and completed level 4 & 5 on world 1 (levels that crashed before on the XEGS) without any issues. I think we can conclude that my XEGS was having issues and now that it's not running properly at all now is even stronger evidence of that. Once I get it repaired I'll try to remember to follow up and test everything again just to be certain. ? Thanks again for the amazing game @ilmenit and looking forward to trying out some levels people come up with on the ZPH stream in the future! - James
