Mikebloke
I picked a random mega drive game (Super Monaco GP) , which I believe is the same black plastic casing genesis games use, and it's just under 200g. A thick multilingual game manual likely puts a few more grams on it, but I doubt it would be more than 250g.

Tanooki
Problem is, the manuals vary a decent bit with the system, some get added posters and other card like inserts. Then there's the games with tiny boards vs fill the shell boards which add more weight. I think your best bet, honestly, is his value. Then find out what Virtua Racing in the case goes for as it's bloated down with the SVP chip and a high shell. Then find out what an EA sports game in their yellow clip cases go for as they also rock batteries. ANd of course I'd find out what like Phantasy Star 4 weighs, it should be a large cart and a thick juicy manual for all that RPG goodness and more. That'll get you a range.
